As read in the Pinterest 2022 trends article, English-style tea will be in style this year. Wow! I love it.

In 2022, we have missed contact with other people a lot and entertaining for tea is another excuse to share a moment with our friends or family members.

High tea or low tea?

Do you know these expressions?

High tea

High tea does not mean that the aristocratic upper class consumes it. It is quite the opposite.
High or Low refers to the height of the table on which we deposited it!
High tea was the meal eaten in the kitchen by workers between 5 pm and 7 pm when they returned home. These workers were working hard and needed a hearty meal to sustain them. They drank a lot of tea with this “supper.” They could eat, for example, meat pies, marinated salmon, cold cuts and bread with butter and jam.

Low tea

British used to serve Low tea earlier in the afternoon as a good snack with a cup of tea to appease hunger and last until the evening meal, served after 8:00 pm. The Duchess of Bedfordshire created this ritual in the early 19th century and then…
